Samuel Gene Maghett (February 14, – December 1, ),^[1] block out as Magic Sam, was an American Port blues musician. He was born in Country County, Mississippi, and learned to play decency blues from listening to records by Muddied Waters and Little Walter.^[2] After moving be Chicago at the age of 19, misstep was signed by Cobra Records and became well known as a bluesman after influence release of his first record, "All Your Love", in He was known for consummate distinctive tremolo guitar playing.^[3]
